On Friday 22nd March the Norwich SSP swimming gala was held at the Sportspark. The event was designed to give children the chance to see what it is like to swim in a gala and represent their school. Cringleford took a strong team of 22 swimmers. The children had a short warm up then it was into the races. Backstroke first followed by breaststroke, freestyle and then butterfly. The event finished with a mixed team freestyle relay. Everyone gave their best and supported the team.

On Wednesday 6th March the cross country finals were held at Holkham Hall in North Norfolk. There were 24 children from Cringleford Primary who had secured their place in the finals by coming in the top 10 at the first round in November. The children had a chance to walk the course before the races started. Yr3 girls were first, followed by the boys and all the other year groups. This was a chance to run against the best runners in Norfolk. We had some great results with Henry from year 6 finishing a brilliant 6th. Lots of runners managed personal bests and improved their results from last year.
