The pupils in reception, years 1and 2, invited members of the Open the Book team to watch their Easter service. The children explained the Easter story, sung a number of songs and gave their guests hot cross buns. The Open the Book team really enjoyed their morning in school

Pancake Day
Cringleford Hub organised Pancake Day activities outside the school. The local clergy made sure lots of children took park in pancake races. This event is one example of how the local church and the school work together.

Year 3 and 4 pupils presented a Christingle Service to parents with donations raised going towards the “The Children’s Society”

The Reception classes performed the nativity play “Whoops-a-daisy” to parents and relatives

The year 5 and 6 Christmas assembly gave each class the opportunity to perform Christmas songs, including “Carol of the bells” directed by our music teacher, Mrs Edwards.

Year 1 pupils performed their nativity play “It’s a baby” at St Peter’s Church. It was standing room only at the back of the church with lots of parents and grandparents turning up to watch.

Year 6 Falcon class preformed an excellent class assembly all about the second would war, focusing on the experiences of evacuees and Anne Frank’s diary
