Year 5 have had some really exciting moments in our Space Explorers topic. We were WOWed by our special visitor Neil Monteiro who visited us as part of Norwich Science Festival and we also went to Norwich Aviation Academy where we learned about satellites, rocket technology and also went on a Boeing 737.

5…4…3…2…1…BLAST OFF! We have launched our Space Topic with a bang! Throughout the term we will be exploring the wonders of our solar system and space exploration. We really enjoyed learning about the distance of the planets from the sun using toilet roll. Who would have known that Mercury is just a single sheet away! One small step for child, one child leap for Year 5!
